Desert Activity at Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is known as The Golden city, which is located around 600 kms west from the Jaipur. Thecity contains fort and royal palaces (havelies) in the heart of Thar desert, THAR is the greatest desert of India. Peoples visit desert for the amusement activities. Jaisalmer desert activity is mostly starts from the evening.After reaching the Jaisalmer city airport/railway station, you will be picked up by our representative. After meet and greet you will be transferred towards the desert by pvt car, which is around 40 kms far from the Jaisalmer city.

On arrival at our camp in desert, we welcome the guest by Raj Tilak and serve soft drinks. After welcome, we offer swiss and luxury tent for the rest. After few rests, desert activities start, some

Activities are

Camel safari: - Camel safari mostly starts at the time of sunset so that you enjoy the golden sky and the rays of the sunlight making the sand dunes also golden view.

Jeep safari: - Jeep safari is the one of the adventures activities which is around of 30 to 60 minutes activity. Jeep safari not only gives thrills on the sand dunes but also helpful to explore the culture of rural tribe of rajasthan.

Parasailing: - Parasailing is one of the most soughed adventures activities in which you can take experience of desert just like bird’s eye when you glide high in the air. This activity is about 10 -15-minute activity in between of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Folk Dance & Music: - Cultural music and Folk dance is the charming activity in the open sky in camp.Folk dance of rajasthan is Kalbelia dance, Kalbelia is a tribe of rajasthan. The Dance is performed by the women of this tribes, during dance they wear black dress (upper dress is angrakhi, head cloth is odhani, and lower cloth is lahanga) with red embroidered. Whereas Music is performed by Men of the kalbelia tribe. They play musical instruments such as been, dafali, pungi, dholak while sing the music.

Gala Dinner: - After cultural activities, we offer rajasthani food for the dinner. Mostly Daal, bati,churma, bejhad ki roti, ker- sangari vegitable, gatta vegitables are included in dinner. Rajasthani food is typically spicy and mostly vegetarian.

Night halt: Spending the night in desert under the blankets of star & moon is the unique experience.We offer different types of experience in desert night such as luxury tents, sleeping under open sky,sleeping in mobile tent.
